About The Original Cartoon
ThunderCats first came on to the cartoon seen in 1985 in America with series 1 containing 65 episodes! which were later followed by a TV movie that was released in 1986 surprisingly named 'ThunderCats - Ho'. 3 more series were brought out between 1987 and 1990 containing 20 episodes each.
It was announced in June 2007 that Warner Brothers would be making a CGI animated feature film of the ThunderCats ? that's one to look forward to in 2010!
The cartoon includes many heroes, namely Lion-O, Jaga, Tygra, Panthro, Cheetara, WilyKit, WilyKat and the unforgettable Snarf!
The ThunderCat's main adversaries were Mumm-Ra and the Mutants (Slithe, Monkian and Jackalman).
